Climate accounting
Since 2007, Tryg has produced a climate accouning on our consumption on energy, electricity, air and car transportation.
Accounting standars
The accumulated consumption is registered by the Group domicile units and covers the headquaters in Ballerup, Denmark, and the main office in Norway, placed in Bergen. The office in Bergen is partly dependent on fuel oil for heating.
Car transportation covers the company car fleet of leased vehicles and mileage allowance for employees in Denmark and Norway. Statistics on mileage are repported by the leasing provider NordeaFleet.
Emissionens from air travel i Denmark and Norway are based on the CO2 emmissions registered by our travel agent, Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
The aggregated CO2-emmissions are based on energy consumption, including electricity, air and car transport and the calculations on emissions standards presented by EnerginetDK, the Norwegian Climate and Polution Agency and Klimaløftet, a Norwegian govermental campaing for public awareness on climate change.
