Tryg regards climate and environmental changes as one of the largest social challenges of our time.
We should expect to see more severe windstorms, heavy rainfalls, heat waves and flooding in the future, also in the Nordic region.
Reversing the current development requires collaborative actions from all levels of society. We take responsibility to do what we can to prevent negative impact on the climate and environment from our operations and activities.
Moreover, as climate and environmental changes have direct impact on Tryg’s business; affecting our core business in terms of higher claims expenses as well as increasing prices of reinsurance, we are aware that there is a need for immediate action and support to our customers.
Video conferences
During the past years, Tryg has decreased the number physical meetings by establishing video conference facilities in all Nordic countries. Apart from cost cuttings of around DKK 110m, it has had a positive impact on cross-border interaction on daily operations.
