UN Global Compact
In October 2008 Tryg joined UN’s Global Compact, which is a platform for corporate governance and knowledge sharing about human rights, labor rights, environment and anti-corruption. In October 2010 we published the first Global Compact report of the concern 'Communication on Progress'. |

UN's principles for responsible investment
Tryg joined UN’s principels for responsible investments (PRI) in May 2009. The principles are about a sensible environmental, management and social approach to investments. We report to PRI once a year. |

UN's Women's Empowerment Principles
Tryg joined UN’s principles of Women’s empowerment in 2010 which are a wide range of principles that are produced to the business community with an aim to empower women on the labor market and in the society. In 2012 wee adopted a plan of action with a goal of increasing the number of women in management from 37,5 % to 39,5. |

Carbon Disclosure Project
Since 2008 Tryg has annually reported to Carbon Disclosure Project about the concern’s climate strategy, initiatives and results in proportion to reduction of CO2 emission in the Nordic countries. In 2011 Tryg is ranked on CDP’s nordic "Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index". The index consist of companies that have shown a professional approach and a great extent of openness about the company’s climate approach and strategies. This is the second time Tryg has qualified for the index. |

ClimateWise
ClimateWise is an international insurance coperation that will meet the possibilities and threats that entail climate changes. Tryg was, in 2009, the first nordic insurance company that joined the Climate Wise principles. The six principles are formed to ensure a climate focus in both product development, risk analysis, investments and counselling. Tryg reports annually about initiatives and progress regarding the six principles. In 2011 Tryg was given a "gold rating" on integration of climate consideration in the core business. Tryg is totally ranked on a shared eighth place among the 26 Climate Wise Members. |

European Road Safety Charter
In 2006 Tryg joined the European Road safety Charter which is an European consolidation of companies, organizations, research institutes and public institutes. The purpose of the charter is to reduce the number of injuries and deaths in traffic. Tryg has engaged in contributing to reducing the number of and size of traffic accidents caused by our business clients’ employee. |

Charter for more women in management
In 2012 Tryg joined the charter for more women in management, which is based on 7 principles whose purpose is to promote equal career options between men and women. In Tryg we are working for increasing the number of women in management with 2 % to 39,5 % and introduce mentoring and couching programmes. |

Operation Chain Reaction
Operation Chain Reaction is an initiative, which is developed by the Ministry of Gender Equality and the Danish business community. The goal is to increase the number of women in our Board. |

Charter for Sustainable Business Development
Tryg has committed itself to live up to the Charter for Sustainable Business Development and is co-founder of the Danish Council of Sustainable Business Development (RBE), which is responsible for the charter. The charter is from 2008 and contains twelve principles and is an extended version of the ten principles from UN’s Global Compact. |
