Careers | Working at Tryg | Our workplace

The Living House is the workplace of tomorrow and plays a key role in Tryg's vision of being the Nordic countries’ most innovative peace-of-mind provider in the Nordic countries.

In 2007, when Tryg arranged a design contest for the future office, the starting point was to create an innovative workplace, which would also be modern in the future.

Today, the one-man offices have been replaced by open-plan offices, and the individual workstation supports, along with the common areas, the goal of the Living House: A house filled with energetic people in motion, and a house where work, cooperation, and knowledge- sharing across departments can prosper.

Farewell to the idea of me and mine
The transition into the Living House has been in progress over several stages. The changes consist of much more than just new furniture. Step by step, both leaders and employees in Tryg take part in building and implementing a new working culture, where the perception of “me and mine” is replaced by “we and ours”, to the benefit of both leaders, employees and in the end also the customers.

Tryg’s offices in Ballerup, Bergen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, Århus and Viborg are all designed as Living Houses.

Focus on sustainability
Sustainability is central to the Living House; from the organic expression in the design of the physical environment, to the interior decoration which supports a good working environment and a natural indoor climate.
The Living House consist of many video conference rooms, where employees can meet across borders. Thereby, the employees save time and Tryg reduces both costs and CO2 emissions.

An attractive workplace
With the Living House, Tryg has created an attractive workplace, which ensures that employees experience a visible management and have room for developing themselves in a modern company with vitality, charisma and a young dynamic soul.
