About Tryg | Strategy

Creating peace of mind and value must be at the core of everything we do and it is Tryg’s goal to achieve this. In order to do so, we must be the best in the industry at insurance, people and creating earnings. It is important for Tryg to create a balance between these three elements as they form the basis of being able to create peace of mind and value for our customers, employees and shareholders.

Our ambition is for Tryg to become the world’s best insurance company. Becoming the best in the world means that we have to be leading at two dimensions; earnings and customers. We need to deliver world class earnings and customer care – simultaneously. Our ambitious goal to become the world’s best insurance company requires balance between high ambitions for our earnings with strong and necessary focus on greater efficiency, while at the same time creating a true customer driven Tryg.

Our main theme for the coming strategy period is “Aiming for world class”. The focus areas build upon the foundation outlined during the previous strategic period with some adjustments based on the steps already taken, and taking into account the current and future trends and tendencies we see.
